Regenerators
High bottling plant performance requires, among other things, good bottle material. In contrast to glass bottles, PET bottles are frequently deformed when returned.
These deformed bottles do not stand stably on the conveyor, which often leads to the bottles falling over and causing interruptions to the production flow.
RINK has found a special answer to this problem and developed the KM 690 RE decapping and regenerating machine especially for PET bottles.
In the first stage, the screw caps are removed from the bottles. Then, in the second stage, compressed air is forced into the bottles and a specific amount of water is injected. The air restores the bottle to its original shape while the water provides a low centre of gravity.
The undeformed bottles now stand stably and can be conveyed without a problem, ensuring a high level of efficiency for the bottling plant.
Machine characteristics:
- Uninterrupted production
- Problem-free installation in new or existing plant
- Fully automatic operation
- Increased efficiency
- Short conversion times
- Single conveyor performance of up to 3,000 crates/h
